I'm Graham, and I keep my home decor notes like other people keep grocery lists. I'm the kind of person who will move a chair three inches to see if the light hits better, then take a photo so I remember what worked. I love mixing practical pieces with cozy details, like thrifted frames, washable textiles, and lighting that doesn't feel harsh. I started House Charm Living because I kept saving screenshots and never getting them into a plan I could stick with.
My story
I didn't set out to start a blog. I just kept running into the same problem: I'd find a home idea I liked, save it, then later realize my space wasn't set up the same way. One rainy weekend, I rearranged my living room and wrote down what changed, what I spent, and what I regretted.
That turned into House Charm Living. I post the lessons I learn while trying to make a home feel lived-in, not staged, and I do it all by myself, from the first draft to the final photo.
What I cover
On House Charm Living, you'll find home decor ideas that come from my own trial and error: styling shelves, picking sizes that fit real walls, layering textures without clutter, and making small rooms feel calmer. I've been testing these choices at home for years, swapping out what looks good online versus what holds up in daily life. I'm careful about tradeoffs like maintenance, cost, and how things look in different lighting.
